Wow. His motive?

I doubt it. The Patriots cut him before he was ever convicted. Its not like he suddenly would have gotten his job had he been found not guilty.

People lose their jobs all the time based on criminal allegations. I still remember the Gary Ramona case where a wine industry executive lost his job after allegations of child molestation as a result of his daughter going through therapy which resulted in her recovering memories of abuse which in the end turned out to be unfounded and a result of manipulation by her therapists. Dude still lost everything over just the allegations.

...

Dude killed himself LOL.

No conspiracy here.

How about this for a crazy turn of events......

In Massachusetts, there is a loophole in the judicial system that says if a person dies in prison and has not exhausted all their legal appeals, their case reverts back to the status at the beginning. So basically his convictions will be wiped clean.

If his record is wiped clean, he technically never violated the terms of his NFL contract, which in turn might mean the Patriots would have to pay his family the remainder of what was owed on the contract he signed.

Crazy.

First, what a stupid loophole. He was convicted.

As for his contract, no way they have to pay out. Even if your argument about him not violating his contract held water, his remaining contract years would have been on hold while he was incarcerated. Him committing suicide certainly voids any remainder of his contract.

Interesting hypothetical though.

Anyway, he is guilty and will always be guilty. Glad he is no longer a burden on taxpayers.
I highly doubt the pats would be on the books for anything here.

It may effect a civil case however, and that may have been the motive. Protecting his family from any further liability.

Same people making fun of Hernandez death could care less about Odin Loyd, so why even comment on it?

Why even try to judge him?

I don't know Hernandez or Loyd, this is a tragedy no matter how you look at it. These were human lives not some movie theater role play thing...

SMH this is what humanity has come to, making fun of dead people while sitting behind a keyboard?

You're so lost, dude.

Why, because I don't see the humor in a mans death?

This makes the most sense by far, letting them keep whatever $$$$ happened to be left.
To Phoenix49er point..

"Brian Murphy, Hernandez's former agent, joined ex-Jets star Antonio Cromartie and others in voicing suspicion about Hernandez's suicide."

"Absolutely no chance he took his own life," Murphy wrote on Twitter. "Chico was not a saint, but my family and I loved him and he would never take his own life."

"I thought he was about to appeal his case. Wow," Cromartie tweeted with emojis denoting skepticism.

It is odd. Doesnt make sense for him to kill himself now and without telling anyone or leaving a note? People get killed in prison all the time and it gets made up to look like a suicide. No one gives a sh*t about inmates so theres never really an investigation. Not far-fetched to think he was killed

Theres is plenty of questions to be answered..

No. There aren't. The questions are already answered in regards to his suicide, its just how much has been released to the public. Early indications are that he was found in his cell alone, with the door slightly barricaded with items and furniture from his cell from the inside.

He killed himself. There is a reason for it. Right now, i would lean towards him wanting his family off the hook for any liability in a civil case. Im sure the money is close to running out. Two high profile trials was expensive. Add to that an appeal that wont happen, and pending civil suits? You have motive.

"It's my view that the Commonwealth was seduced by his celebrity," said defense attorney Ronald S. Sullivan Jr., part of the team that represented Hernandez in his latest trial. "Instead of doing the hard work of uncovering evidence, they went for the celebrity conviction. In the second trial, the jury held him to the standard that all citizens should be held to."

It's not surprising that the winning side would lavish praise on the jury. But in the wake of the trial, there seems to be widespread agreement that the case against Hernandez was weak. It came down to the word of one very wobbly star witness, Alexander Bradley, whose self-serving and inconsistent testimony wasn't nearly enough to win a murder conviction."

The case they had against him was weak... Plenty of motivation to live for.. They wanted him and they got him..

Didnt even have a solid case..

Thats the problem, the masses trust these police states and hold on to their word like gold. In the meantime they are ripping the public off and we love it.

For all we know with a weak ass case like that. An innocent man could have possibly died and the real killer still out?

What do we know? They just want bunk beds filled so the sheep can keep making the wolves money.

We are too gullible.

This is not MY argument. Was simply passing along information.
