well with all of the injuries.. he has a golden chance. with no more excuses to make his mark. starting tonight. kind of sad that we are saying this year is make or break for a number one draft pick who we thought was going to be some sort of a cornerstone along with foster for a rebirth of our once proud and good defense
Don't worry. If he flops this season, he'll be a Patriot in the future. Belichick will know how to utilize him.

Is there a stat out there for how many role players Belichick has taken to the Super Bowl? That would be something interesting to see. Seems like there is always some player that has a pivotal role in the Pats winning a championship that is not on the roster the next few years. Usually this seems to be some sort of free agent or low draft pick that gets shipped after the Super Bowl.

Might just be Bill playing free agency to a degree that no other coach/GM has done.

Dude, did you see what he did with Kyle Van Noy? KVN went from being a total bust in Detroit(because those dumbasses didn't know how to use him) to one of the most versatile defensive players in the league and a key component to two Superbowl-winning teams in New England. I loved KVN coming out, so I'm so happy to see him thriving in New England.

And what about Patrick Chung also?
The guy left the Patriots for the Eagles and was cut after only one year because he was just not good at all.
He comes back to the Pats and he has just been really good since then and one of the key guys in their defense.
I bet that Jamie Collins will have the same path.

Belichick is incredible for real.
A guy like Thomas would be perfect in his team.
Let´s hope it won´t come to this and Solomon will breakout with the niners.

Good thing he sucks at drafting offense. Or they'd never lose.

In 2000, he even second guessed Brady six times before taking him on the seventh chance.
