Not sure why people are making it sound like there hasn't been a peep about Solomon in camp. Have people not been reading? There are plenty of reports out there about what he's been doing in camp. I read every one of the recaps and I've heard multiple mentions about him getting sacks or pressures. Even in this thread you'll find the tweets about him logging a safety and another report that even McGlinchey was struggling to block him from the edge, of all places.

The positive news is there, but I think folks need to take the blinders off and stop choosing not to see it. Allow yourself some hope and happiness, guys, it's okay.

Never been one of those against Solomon Thomas- ever lol. Just haven't heard AS much. It seems we are bombarded with information about certain guys, both good and bad, which is why I made my comment about Thomas.
Solly snatched Garrett Bolle's soul on this one.

Because the topic of mental illness has come up in this thread multiple times, I would like to make a general statement for the thread:

Mental illness is a disease just like diabetes or cancer. It is frequently genetically linked. It isn't something that you "just get over." It requires specialized care that commonly involves medication as well as ongoing counseling, both for the person being treated as well as the family and support group around the person. Understanding on the part of those indirectly impacted is just as important as the direct treatment of the individual. (I can well imagine that Solomon Thomas has been involved in all of the above.)

Mental illness has been called the most misunderstood serious illness in America. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) recently started a campaign to correct this misunderstanding called Stopping the Stigma. A central part of that campaign is to educate the public on the danger and the harm of uninformed statements about the disease. Such statements are more than "not helpful," they can be destructive on multiple levels.

I say all this because there have been instances in this thread where exchanges have occurred that have been hurtful, even inflammatory to people who have had, or are having to deal with this illness in their personal life. We must stay away from these kinds of comments, as innocently or ignorantly (Iacking in knowledge) as they may be.

Let's bring the WZ up to a new level of understanding and civility on a matter that is of much more significance than just football. OK?

'

Just saw this Dj...really well done. Hope every one reads this and remembers it.

That is a beautiful rep, fingers crossed it translates to games this year.

Our D-Line could be special.

I SAW him did this often last season, beat his guy around, but the only problem was that the runner had already gone past him..

An edge rush rep? I thought Solly at edge wasn't a thing anymore.

Beautiful. Clubbed those hands and swam over.

Random thought but when drafted, many were hoping Solly could be a quick beast interior rusher like Donald but clearly lacks a lot there . Nick Bosa studies Aaron Donald's game. Maybe he could teach solly some a those moves lol
