Told you bruh. They see him as a DE. Nothing they have done sense he's been here should make you believe he's getting inside reps. And its not just AA. Day Buck and Jones are all ahead of him. At best hes the 5th interior d lineman. Unless somebody gets hurt he'll get about 10 DE snaps a game and that's about it

Looking like a very very poor selection with the 3rd pick. Problem he's not quick enough for an undersized lineman and not big enough to be a run stuffing mauler. At best he's a decent backup lineman that will give the starters a quick blow and then he's back on the sidelines.

Not getting a good vibe on him. I think the coaching staff realizes they made a mistake and they've already moved on from Solly.

Regardless, he has not been played where he fits best so claiming everything is lining up right for him is incorrect.

As for the reasons the coaches have that's another story. One thing is for sure they claim he's a better fit inside but don't play him there. That's very frustrating when you use a 3rd overall pick on a guy then play him where you claim isn't his ideal spot...and where he clearly doesn't play like a first round pick let alone a top 3 pick.

Its so weird I can't understand it. He clearly struggles on the edge to get any pressure whatsoever. He was drafted because he was a beast inside, yet we refuse to play him there. I'm not saying he'd be a probowler, but he might at least become better than average. Very odd.

Yeah its absurd. You can look at how Thomas is even built and he looks like an inside rusher. Way out of place on the edge.
