If there ever was a time I wish he'd step up it's now and heading into this playoff run but sadly I don't have much confidence he will

That's what makes this pick more aggravating. This dude is going to just get owned during a time where we need him to step up the most.

Frustrating. Thomas is a backup caliber player at best. They had it right as far as his role, but only as a backup. Edge-setter on run downs, pass rush on the interior on passing downs. That's the only time he's setup for success it seems. He is zero threat as a pass rusher from the edge, and easily taken out of the play on the inside on running plays.
