Yeah, we're approaching the end of year 3 now, and we haven't gotten much out of that pick. Remember we actually had the second overall pick in that draft (2017), traded back a spot, ended up with two selections in the first round (Foster and Thomas), but we have not gotten much production out of it. When you think of all the other ways we could have used those two picks (safety, OL, etc.) it really is sick.

Why would you do that? Do you want to be pissed off? It's like someone being pissed at the James Owens pick or OJ Simpson trade during the 1981 season.
pff ranking for solly 56.3

Butterfly effect, if you use those picks on an OL/S we might not of had the 2 pick this past year. No Bosa and this team is a lot different.
He was a 3rd overall pick....we watched Chip Kelly for an entire season for this bum.
Worst 49ers draft pick of all time

With so much positive stuff going on, why would real fans pick at things like how Solomon played or not? Did you not see the W against the rams on Sat nite? Cripes, It amazes me that some fans just can't focus on the good...and seem to gravitate toward the bad. I feel bad for fans like that. This is a Cinderella season and yet we have complainers here working on the negative. Why not appreciate the positive?

Agree 100%. Everyone knows that he has not played nowhere near his draft position but let go of that anger and just hope for the best. He isn't the worst player on defense and is just a mediocre player asked to fill in at the moment.

56.3 isnt mediocre dough.

Its disappointing but not unusual for the first pick in a draft to not be your best pick. He may have still had the best week out if the top 5 picks from the 2017 draft. Myles Burfict sure isn't helping his team right now, Trubisky, Fournette, and Davis are all playing average at best. The best part out if that draft was getting draft Capitol out of Da Bears to grab Warner. I also consider Warner to be much better than our 2018 first overall pick.
Funny thing is he put up exact same stat line as DeeFo Saturday night all while playing less snaps! No one is playing that well at the moment

Excellent post.

I do my best to totally ignore their posts. I see who wrote them and don't bother reading.

IMO, those people are part of the "Cup is ALWAYS Half-Empty" crowd.

Debbie Downers

Don't waste your precious time on them.
As much as people dislike ST, I think he should take most in not all of Sheldon Day's snaps.

Oh really? Just to pick a few names. AJ Jenkins. Kentwan Balmer. Rashaun Woods. Kwaeme Harris. Reggie McGrew. Jim Druckenmiller. Dexter Carter.

So, no.

What is everyone else's grade on the Dline? Is his grade that much lower than the others?
