The tackles were the least impressive part of his game on Sunday IMO. Hustle plays dont impress me. They should be a given. What impressed me was making Russell uncomfortable and making him start to scramble.

I think he's better off getting back up to 300lbs. This way he can at least stuff the run. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think the guy has the hand or foot speed to shed his Human Velcro tendencies. Might as well fortify the defensive line.

Somebody tell Lawrence Taylor that his whole career was a lie.

Backside players aren't expected to catch plays on the other side of the field.

He also stopped Lynch for no gain from his DT spot and was furiously trying to pry the ball out as he arrived.

Or in Waterbear's eyes, he made a fake hustle tackle and then a fake stop for no gain.

Clips?

Seemingly, his lone skill is knifing thru the defensive line to make an occasional tackle for no gain or even a tackle for loss of yardage. But that's about all you get out of him. I still question his athletic ability. I don't think he has the hand or foot speed to ever be a pass rusher and he's too light in the trunk to be a run stuffer. Bet he weighs 270lbs max right around now. Best to add the extra 20 lbs of pure muscle for next year.

It just means a lot you still think about me and send me threats on my dm. Seriously... it makes me feel valued for once.
Gotta give him credit again. He played really well. Noticed him a ton today.
He had himself a very nice game.

Played well. Happy for him.
If he can continue to give those kind of quality reps our defense will stay fresh.
Too hammered to notice, but glad to hear he played well
