Offsides aside, I thought he played decent in the SB. Not first round quality of play, but an improvement from his regular season play. Not saying much, I know.

People made these type of claims during the season too, with nothing to back it up other than that they felt like he played decent.
He was useless in the Superbowl. We absolutely need to cut him this offseason and use his money on useful players.

Unfortunately, he just looks like an average guy out there, not a #3 overall pick. He does have a relentless motor...if only he could be an impact player to pair with it.

How much money will we save when we cut him? What could we get in a trade?

Hm. I know it happens, but how did we miss on such a high pick? IIRC, he was supposed to be a versatile player that could play on the edge and interior, right? I remember analysts said he was a very solid pick... Sucks that both he and Foster busted, but all the other picks have been great.
Was the problem was that he cooooould play both DT and DE, but it turned out he does neither very well and is too much of a tweener?

Yes, that is my take. He also strikes me as a polished college player. In the NFL, everyone is polished, so he lost his one strength.

Probably would've won SB if picked Jamal Adams instead of him

How so, seeing as how Thomas doesn't factor much either way as a backup?
I'm guessing you believe Adams would have better played the bomb to Hill?

If we do end up extending AA It's time to ship him out.

Not a cap guy but I read we'd have a 4.6 mil dollar cap hit but free up 4.3 mil in cap space.
