not sure why you people want a poor player back. keeping him cuz he is cheap is a terrible reason to keep a football player who is easily replaceable . i think a guy on our practice squad can more than take this guys place. i would wager that at no point in time on sunday or any other playing date.. we will say... oh man... thomas would have made that play or been the difference here/... that is what you expect from a first round draft choice.
Hate to see anyone get injured badly like he did. But this is not a loss.

Hope Solly has success on his future team. He is a classy guy and hope he finds a good new home.

This does make it more likely he comes back on a 1 yr deal. But I kind of hope he goes for a change of scenery.
I wish Solomon Thomas well too but I don't think he is a good fit for the defensive system in place now

I am really interested to see who they sign to take his place on the depth chart though
I don't think Solly fits this defense. He should be playing 3-4 DE somewhere honestly.
gonna be interesting to see where his career takes him now

Unless he's willing to come back for the vet minimum I think he's gone.

I mean what kind of contract do you think the market would give him? Minimal production over four years and coming off an ACL

Lets put it this way, if Dion Jorden is still in the League.... Thomas will have options.

When you are saying you could care less, you are saying the exact opposite of what you mean.

Just a personal pet peeve of mine, so I thought I would share. :)

I read that phrasing as: it is possible for you or the inferred group could possibly give less of a crap than the person on the opposite end of the exchange (not the subject). In this case, it is possible for cciowa and several others on this board to have less concern about Thomas than SteveWallacesHelmet and/or Geeked.
