In their defense they let him play DT a LOT! He just never got sacks or pressure and he had great players around him. Just strange he is peaking now after so many years. The Raiders have 2 good DE's but good for him. Pisses me off he did nothing with all the chances and time he had with us. We also had the best DL coach. So what the hell!?

is he?

His performance and stats easily suggest that

He cleaned up a few sacks on some QB pressures created by Maxx Crosby. Nice job but not really my definition of peaking.

For him that is exactly peaking. What does he have now 3 sacks, a bunch of TFL's and a forced fumble? He had none of the above with us in just 6 games

2.5 sacks and 1 TFL.

That is a lot more than he ever did here, and he played on an incredible DL

2.5 sacks and 1 TFL.

That's it? I saw just last game he had 3 TFL and a forced fumble? Maybe the writer was on crazy pills
You can't spell Legend without an "L" which is 1 letter he has in his name. Let thank SINK IN!

That's hardly an impressive bar to clear.
Watching the Jets first preseason game and saw him playing in the second half. Looks like its the end of the line for him. He's going into year 6. I didn't expect him to dominate but if he can't be a high quality back up on the Jets, it's over.

he'd basically be backing up Quinnen Williams, who was the perennial "We should have picked him over Bosa" whipping boy to quite a few back in 2019
  1. Patrick Mahomes should've been this pick and gotten us #6 🏆
  2. Lynch, NEVER draft a college classmate AGAIN

So you have a team that is a possible Super Bowl contender (outside shot) and you're still mad about this pick?

He would but I'm not so sure its guaranteed. If Thomas makes it, it's because the Jets have no depth.
