I'm excited about the D, can't wait to see Foster and Thomas in action.

I mean on paper our defense doesn't look bad at all , we got buckner, AA, Thomas, Mitchell dline, bowman, foster , Ahmad brooks lbs, Robinson , Reid , tartt, ward for dbs, not bad defense at all

Bummer that the guy will miss some of the summer workouts due to Stanford's class schedule. This really should be addressed at the NFL owners meeting. It puts players in the 'quarter' system at a significant disadvantage

If another "Garrett" comes out you better believe we are drafting the kid to play edge.

I would like to see him placed in a role to be a constant disruptor. Move him all along the line and let him pick where he wants to go. On passing downs, let him stand up and on rush downs make him DT and let him penetrate the line to get a TFL. It would be nice to find away to have Thomas, Buckner, Armstead, Mitchell, and Lynch at the same time. That's a lot of size and speed on the field at the same time.

Just in case some of you missed it. Solomon Thomas Path to the Pros: http://www.cbssports.com/college-football/video/2017-path-to-the-pros-stanford-de-solomon-thomas/
The guy seems like a nice Stanford kid but when he gets on the field he kind of flips a switch. The guy wants to be great and I think he will make Arik and Buck and the rest of the D line pick it up a notch.

Without an edge rusher? Either we need to still draft an Aldon or spend big money on say Ingram.
