Exactly....he is likely to just be singled and when you really look at it, the OL can't double everybody. It could be the setup for a huge Solomon yr. i don't think it would last too long, but that just means the opponents O has to keep more guys in to protect the QB. But they can't double 4 guys...not really. If you add the QB, that would mean only two guy would be out shagging balls or running with the ball. TWO.
No matter how you slice it, this awful D is about to do a frog to a prince story in 1 season. How else could you read it? I think this DL is going to cause all sorts of misery to our opponents.
All Kyle has to do is scheme how to score with ZBS from the RZ ...and you know he has spent all off season working on that. His one failing. My bet is he figures it out...or he finally has Pettis healthy and Jet on the field. Plus Brieda, Au Jus, Marquise, kittle, our new RB, TT, et al. And I suppose he gets another WR in there somewhere plus a TE late or UDFA, AAF.
