Lolynch sure screwed the pooch in 2017. First foster is gone and now Thomas is on the outs. What a complete waste of a first. Smh damn shame even baalke wasn't that inept.

This leads me to believe (if it's true), they're looking at Williams if Arizona doesn't take him.

ur talking to people who look at PFF grades as the end all be all. AA is utter garbage and PFF has these dudes convinced he's as good as Aaron Donald.
PFF and PFT are two different things.
PFT puts out hot garbage 95% of the time.
If the San Francisco 49ers are lucky enough to be able to select Ohio State's Nick Bosa with the No. 2 pick, that could prove to be bad news for the 2017 No. 3 pick, defensive lineman in Solomon Thomas.
Thomas was picked behind Myles Garrett and Mitchell Trubisky and is a fantastic athlete at 280 pounds, but he has struggled to find a role. In 2018, he recorded just three tackles for a loss and one sack in 16 games, including 13 starts. With the addition of Dee Ford and possibly another top selection in Bosa, Thomas may be on the outside looking in for playing time.
Could Thomas be a trade target during the draft? ESPN's Adam Schefter mentioned on NFL Live (via ESPN's Laurie Horesh) that the 49ers could move Thomas if they select Bosa. Teams looking for an inside-outside rusher who is still on a rookie contract may be willing to give up a mid-draft pick for Thomas.

Thought THE SAME thing man. Makes you wonder what the scouts saw?
Film doesn't lie. Kocurek probably knew right away no amount of coaching can salvage a bust.
I coulda watched film and told you this guy is worthless.
I hope they can get anything for him at this point, I just don't want him on the team. Utter waste of a pick that I think many of us knew at the time. His bust will be placed next to Kentwan Balmer's on the wall of busts at 49ers Museum.
No doubt about it. It was more than apparent early on he was already like a fish out of water. But, of course the Solomon Thomas apologists would blame it on playing him in the wrong position. It was just blatantly clear on film that he had no explosiveness nor power required at the pro level. Yep, he has to be one of the biggest busts in recent years. He should be in the HOF of 49ers busts.
Not a bust. His heart was broken.
It would be a mistake to ship him.
Come on man.
I disagree and I would rather trust Kocurek's analysis.
His sister's suicide was unfortunate, but let's face it he was already bad before she died.
We have been more than patient. Gave him 2 years and saw nothing. AJ Jenkins only played 3 games before we traded him. We were already highly accommodating with Thomas.

Thinking Thomas + #36 for the Patriots #32

Thomas was supposed to be one of the safest picks in the draft and foster looked badass until being a s**tty person. People gonna troll though, carry on.

Whoever he goes to he'll probably be a beast. Just not for us. Looks like they expect Bosa to be gone.

if we get bosa i can not believe anyone would be sad to see thomas gone
I don't think many people would be sad to see him gone no matter who we draft. We've seen more than enough. He is just bad, period, I am afraid.

We can get the same production out of someone in the fifth round. Get rid of this waste
