This just indicates to me you'd rather be proved right about being smarter than Shanalynch than see them be successful.
How do you have so much faith with a 10 and 22 record after two seasons. I gave him a pass year one...
This offseason has also been a train wreck....I haven't seen any kind of growth from the FO other than recognizing after year 2 that they finally need a DE.
First of all, I have faith because they've increased the overall talent significantly throughout their time here. I don't give out passes for limited times, I continually evaluate where things have gone throughout and IMO they have made far more positive moves than negative. They've also shown the ability to accept when decisions have not produced the results they wanted and adjust accordingly. Having a GM and HC that can both improve the team talent/play through their decisions but also recognize and adjust to their shortcomings is a very positive indicator, IMO. It helps tremendously that they are generally upfront about the reasons behind their decisions so one can evaluate the logic of them, even when those decisions don't work out as desired.
As far as this offseason being a trainwreck, I don't know what your expectations were, but it's been a very good offseason in improving talent. They finally got their high end edge rusher - something that wasn't ignored, but rather wasn't openly available to them the last two offseasons. They brought in very talented players at LB and RB. They brought in a very talented CB with injury concerns on a reasonable high reward/low risk contract. They retained a good starting OG. They added potential depth at WR, OG, LB and K.
All this before the draft where they will either get Bosa or Williams to help the DL even more, or trade for a truckload of additional picks. Yes, they need more talented OGs. Yes, they still need top DB and WR talent. But I don't throw out the baby with the bathwater, and there's been a lot of baby. (That sounded weird...)
I also see the 2018 team doing far, far better if not for the key injuries. They win more than 6 games and improve on 2017 if not for Garoppolo's injury alone. Garoppolo is clearly a multi-plus WAR starting QB, I would think that much is obvious. How well do the 1981 49ers do if Montana blows his ACL in game 3? Think they win the Super Bowl? I think not.
