And this is why a lot of people in here are negative...if they're wrong big deal they're niner fans, if they're right they can say I told you so.

Let's face it. Half the people in this country are negative about everything because their lives are boring or just pain f****d up. Sports are just a convenient way to let out their frustrations with their daily life. Sports are also a great way to lift emotions when the team is winning.

This man knows what's up. I wasn't a fan of the McGlinchey pick at all. Soon as he put on a 49ers jersey I wanted him to be the best OT in the NFL with Staley being right there with him.

I thought the Justin Smith signing made no sense - loved being wrong about that one.
If me being wrong means the 49ers get some awesome production out of players I'd be thrilled to be wrong 100% of the time when it came to player evaluations.

If I like a player and he goes to another team - I hope i'm wrong about him. Goff, Robert Quinn were two guys I LOVED in each of their respective drafts. Soon as the Rams picked them up I shed a tear and then hoped I was dead wrong about those guys being studs.

Ya I don't get this. I'm rooting for every 49er (except Ward because it's personal), and if I'm wrong in the end that only makes my team better.

its very easy to be negative (especially on SM) ...not a lot of thought goes into It and not a lot of people own up to it when they're wrong. Most of the time they just go onto the next thing to be negative about.

Damn im really pulling for the guy, not just because hes a 9er because I cant imagine going thru what him and his parents went thru.

REALLY hope that last year was such a travesty due to the tragedy in his life.

I mean if you take away all your biases of the kid, he had 2 less sacks, 10 less tackles, 7 less TFL and 5 less QB hits in 2 more games in his second season.

We've seen sophmore slumps before but it usually comes from guys who are lazy and skirting by on their athletic abilities. I think the drop in his production definitely points more to his head just being a mess.

If he can get his mind/body right and play up to his draft pick this DL can be truly special. Giants DL got them 2 SBs. Would be great if we finally got #6 on the back of our DL and Jimmy G leading the offense.
