Interior defensive linemen with abs. Freaken crazy lol. How long before we see interior OL with abs? Quenton Nelson might be the first to usher in that era.

Solly is jacked as f.

And holy chit at that pump. Please get your head right Sully and revive your career.

Damn he looks bigger than Donald. Donald's all cut but Thomas looks bigger than him.
Assuming this isn't photoshopped, while some have been dissing Solly, looks like he has been working like crazy on his trade. That body isn't only astounding ...it is massive. Who here doesn't really want to see Solly unchained...in action. It could all be fluff, but it sure doesn't look that way. This looks like a guy on a mission.

And yup, kudos to Solly for seeking out Aaron and training with him. Plus he spent time with someone else before. I think the Solly detractors are in for a very large surprise. I sure hope so.
btw, I know Solly is closer to the camera, but the difference in frame between the two is very discernable. Solly is a taller, longer athlete; Donald is a tree stump made out of fast-twitch muscle fiber. I think being short, stout and explosive is one of Donald's greatest attributes as an interior DL. He's always lower than the guy he's facing, and as we all learned in pop warner, low man wins.

Yup. When I played I always struggled blocking short quick players versus big and slow.
Looks like he's working hard, that's the main thing.

I don't think putting the work in was ever a problem for him. It just hasn't translated to the field

Maybe they drafted him thinking he could transition himself into being this 10 sack defensive end because he tested well. Well he probably can't, but that doesn't mean he can't be like a Justin Smith for us. I mean he's not untalented.

Yeah if they play him in his natural position and does not bring anything, then it'll confirm it was a bad pick.

I mean its not really his fault he was over rated. He shot up the draft charts by having a great bowl game and testing well in the combine, then a fellow alumnus happen to be a new GM with the 3rd pick. I don't think you can find one preseason mock with him anywhere near the top 20.

LOL... before the game started they said he would go high if he declared. Nobody thought he would come out. That's why he wasn't in mocks that apparently make you think that he was a 1 game wonder. He had a very good season. He tore it up. We've used him out of place and he's gone through a personal issue.

Sure, he can be a bust, but scouts were on him before the bowl game.

Agreed. This season will determine a lot for him imo
