Hahaha...why have I never seen that gif. Well done!

You've never seen the Tom Brady no high five gif lol? It's a thing enough that it's in the new Madden.

I'm ashamed. Maybe I saw it but didn't pay attention. Either way, my life is better for having noticed that.

Assuming this isn't photoshopped, while some have been dissing Solly, looks like he has been working like crazy on his trade. That body isn't only astounding ...it is massive. Who here doesn't really want to see Solly unchained...in action. It could all be fluff, but it sure doesn't look that way. This looks like a guy on a mission.

And yup, kudos to Solly for seeking out Aaron and training with him. Plus he spent time with someone else before. I think the Solly detractors are in for a very large surprise. I sure hope so.

Excellent post paso!

I'll really be pulling for him this season. A year removed from the tragedy and the full understanding he has knowing that this is the 3rd season. It is put up or shut up time. Hope he puts it together because the physical and athletic tools are ALL there.

How can you not root for Sully? Not only is he a great kid dealing with some awful sh*t but he's a high 49ers draft pick...

If you're rooting against him you're simply a trash person and an awful 49ers fan. Sorry, not sorry.

Yup. I'm probably his biggest critic but rooting for him like crazy. I hope he proves my evaluation completely wrong this year.

Nice to see Solly putting in the work to improve on his craft. I will wait and get excited about all of that when I see him apply it on the field.

It's never going to be easier than it will be this year, with Buckner, Bosa, and Ford commanding attention. It's now or never for him.
Who knows if it'll help working out with the best DL in the league but it's awesome.

Love everything that I've read about Solly this off-season.

Could've easily broke and given up after his family tragedy, could've crumbled to the bust label or say f this after the trade rumor.

Instead he's working with the best and is staying confident in himself. Stay strong, Solly! We need you to step up this year.

Solly is going to work inside next to DeFo this season, right?

On passing downs, yes, which is pretty much the same way he's been for the last few seasons.

I'm guessing DJ Jones will still be on the field in their snickel package. I think it's even more important to keep the nose on the field if they're going wide 9 in that package.

The biggest question for me isn't Solly, but rather, how they're going to use Nick Bosa. Nick could easily do Solly's job in base and doesn't need to be moved in nickel packages. He's an every-down edge.

It's definitely now or never. If he breaks out though our DL can be truly special. I don't want to think about it because I feel like when I get really excited about something like that it never works out :(

But assuming they all stay healthy and play up to their potential....a DL of Bosa, Buckner, Thomas, Ford is the best in the league and can definitely get our defense to another level.
