Anddddd this thread went full potato again.

I hear val finally found out the U.S. landed on the moon.

What do you think Reuben likes more... A frosty from Wendy's or fosters freeze?

Nobody answered... How about bananas Foster?

Think I just stumbled on his new nick name... Reuben "Frosted Bananas" Foster. Can someone run this by moon?
This is hypothetical, but reasonably safe to assume it could happen. What do we do IF Reuben gets 4 game suspension? Do we try and get it knocked down to 2, when we know it won't get changed until late in season,. or do we just say "thank you" and have him take the 4 games right now? Watching Dallas and Zeke, it would have been way better to take the suspension earlier, but later really hurt them.

But Zeke was guilty and Reuben wasn't. So , what is our best course?
He'll be suspended four games and considering where we were two months ago, you all should be happy with that.

This is true. I thought his career was over.

He was never charged. And if he gets 4 games they will probably reduce to 3. No reason to drag that out all season. Take the 3 games and keep it moving. The other issue is we don't know what stage of the drug program he's in. So that might make a difference in his suspension

Agree...if it is manageable number of games, don't screw with it, get the suspension behind him and then be there for rest of season. Now, if less than that, or none...better yet. But if a big number, heck, yes contest it.
Hopefully he appeals whatever suspension he'll get. I want him to be available against Cousins and his Vikings. He ate Cooks breakfast, lunch, and dinner last year and want him to do the same this year. All eyes on us this season and it would great to start off with a bang and annihilate the Vikings top defense and a K.Cousin led offense.

He'll probably get like 4 games - then has it reduced to two games.

I'm glad we have him back on the team, but the MLB/WLB is not the impact position that a LEO is. In other words, great to have him back, but our season will turn on whether or not we have a pass rush. Kyle's offense is going to score points, the key is the defense's ability to stop the opposing team from passing and catching up to Kyle's offense. But I'd rather have him on the team than suspended, that's for sure.
Is there a certain time table that the NFL notified their suspensions. I just can't imagine a team getting a suspension on one of their players like a week before the season starts

Pretty sure there isn't.

And Roger Goodell is a POS who will do whatever he wants...

In regards to Reuben, everything happened and done in the offseason, so if there is a suspension handed down, we should know well before the season starts.

As compared to others that may involved testing and waiting for the results that may run into the season.

I think the NFL can do their own "investigation" so there's no time table on their findings.

Basically they can do whatever the hell they want. This was why I was surprised that so many fans were so excited about his punishment to the Pats for deflate gate....when you allow the NFL/Goodell to dish out punishments as they see fit sooner or later your team will be on the receiving end of that disaster.

Hopefully we do find out soon and hopefully it's better than I'm expecting.
