What we learned so far under Goodell, is if you make the NFL look bad, it doesn't matter what the court system says, you will get a suspension. He got caught with weed and guns, doesn't matter if they belong to his friends or whatever other excuse. The NFL doesn't care about our court system. He made the NFL look bad, he's gonna pay the price. I said he will get 4 games and reduced to two. This is a win for Foster and the 49ers. Accept that he made bad decisions and hopefully he learns from it.

The NFL is a joke. Elliott gets 6 games for domestic assault,Foster gets 2 games for marijuana and a BS California gun law and Winston gets 3 games for sexual assault after allegations of rape at Florida St. Winston actions are far worse then anything the other 2 did and he gets off lightly because he's a QB.

He had an illegal gun, he got caught with pot, and he put the NFL in a bad spotlight. Once again...The NFL doesn't care about the court system. They can do wtf they want...Why is this so hard for people to understand?

Don't hang around people with weed, don't have illegal guns, and don't date crazy thots...People like you act like everybody in the NFL does this and Goodell just has it out for Foster

Oh please. You know he is just saying that because foster was suspended less games then expected. Anything to continue the negative narrative to get attention.

Exactly, he put himself in that position. He's supposed to be a professional representing the 49ers, he needs to have the foresight to walk away from a situation before it escalates. He didn't and now he's suffering the consequences.

He's lucky that he's not in jail and he's really lucky that he didn't get a 6 game suspension like Ezkiel Elliot. So yes, he's one lucky motherf**ker. I don't know what other definition there is.

Sorry but a guy who gets arrested while driving with weed in the car in a state where it's illegal while visiting from a state where he now lives where weed is legal is not lucky.

A guy who breaks up with his crazy gf and she calls the cops on him to kill his career and in the process they find guns without proper paperwork but legal in the state he bought them in is not lucky.

Even if you wanted to make a case that the suspension of 2 games was why you called him lucky then I'll disagree with you there too.

Reuben isn't the first guy to get suspended off a weed arrest and gun charges. If anything he got screwed getting 2 games because the gun charges only came out due to his crazy ex, so in a way the NFL is still letting her get a small win in. She called the cops and while she recanted the DV story full of holes he still lost a games paycheck from it.

Not lucky at all...

Him not going to jail/getting cut isn't luck. He didn't do anything worth those type of repercussions. Just because everyone overreacted without all the info doesn't change that.
