To be honest, as long as he gives us 4 GREAT years, I'll easily take it for a third rounder... that wouldn't be the case doe if he wants to do something really legit cause I feel you'd wanna atleast net a couple years worth of multi millions for a couple years. Didn't care to see the video, maybe he's also trying to tell ladies and people out there that I'm not just a generic football player. Football might be his job but not his ENTIRE life and I'm more than okay with that as long as he does what's necessary to be successful at his job, which is also a sport so I'm not losing any sleep.
Thinking you could be a surgeon after what happens to your hands as an NFL CB is either naive....
Or he's really planning on quitting after a year.

It makes me worried that Lynch didn't see that video and they didn't do their due diligence.

This dude screams quitter.

I think what he meant was that if his football career don't end up the way he expected in a couple of years ( traded,FA or no team wants him ) then he has a fallback plan and be a surgeon, You cant hate on a player or label him a quitter for having a plan after football if it doesn't pan out.

You should see the video then. To me, that video was candid and off the cuff. He didn't prepare for that "interview" the way he probably prepared when he met with NFL team officials at the combine, who most likely grilled him about his passion and commitment to the game. Where he most likely told NFL teams what they wanted to hear, "I love football". He could have answered the question with any NFLer, Deion, Patrick Peterson, Revis, Sherman, nope...he thought about it then meant to say Chris Borland because the perfect NFL career to him is one year's check and done.

Chris Borland for all we know is running an underground meth lab through his child hood friend lol. How much money will Spoon actually make after taxes and actually living for the next year, along with possible debts he's already gotten himself into.

Let me ask y'all this, at one point the Niners were scared and had Williams off their board and ended up taking him in the fourth .
You think they were just super comfortable taking this dude in the third, AND trading your other 3rd away for next years second?
Nahhhhhhh lol. Once again it's a third rounder, if Redmond and Robinson pan out I'll be like Spoon who if he ever did quit on us.
Anybody see his presser , he's wearing a Valero shirt and used the phrase "fuel to the fire" strange ass coincidence seeing how the Valero plant in Benicia is currently burning

For 1 year
Just watched a video of him answering questions from the beat writers on 49ers.com. That guy has the narrowest shoulders of any professional football player I've ever seen. No wonder he doesn't like to stick his head in there. I saw Eddie George at an airport last year was surprised at how huge he was. He still looked fit, as though he could play, but he was just immense, and he was a running back. Have to say playing in the NFL isn't for the faint of heart. It's scary how big and fast all of these players have gotten.
Seeing as how he was by far my favorite pick in the draft....that video was...a red flag.

Either A he has a very strange sense of humor, and it will be obvious....or B this pick might be a huge mistake.

What we don't see might be telling to us.... He did not go from High school to a major medical school. There has been no mention of his college GPA in his scouting reports.

Have we heard at any point he is a serious doctor candidate? The Last NFL guy that was going to be a brain surgeon they talked over and over and over about his classroom prowess. I have not heard that about Ahkello. Did I just miss it?

I am concerned, I really hope he loves being a CB and is great as I hope he can be.

That'd be funny if he was just really stoned and everything just came out effed up lol.
