I'm not sure that was on Warner considering how much zone defense we played yesterday.

It looked like it was on warner because he but on the play action and when he realized pass he ran back to his man or zone. I even think he might have tapped his chest or pointed to himself to say it was his mistake. I'm not mad cause it happens. Just thought maybe Whitherspoon could have tried to help him out a little more. They both played great tho and I'm loving how our team is looking right now esexpsilly defensively

I believe it was a cover 3 they were in, the reason Sherman is so tough in it is bc he watches the QB and comes off his coverage and makes plays which AK hopefully will get better at, tho it's more instincts and reaction, if that play was called to Sherman's side it's picked..

Akhello was in man coverage on his receiver. That wasn't him being in a zone. He just saw Andrews running wide open and when he diagnosed it, it was a little too late. That was absolutely on Warner who bit on the PA.
Ahkello once again locked it up and didn't allow anything all game. A pretty common theme with him this season.

yeah it was on warner, and yes they showed him tapping his chest telling his teammates that it was his fault.

Re-watched the game on coaches film and Jackson wanted to go his direction a few times but ended up checking down instead. There was this one time he was looking for I think Snead on a comeback route and if he threw it, Ahkello would have taken it to the crib.
Big test this week against one of the best WRs in the game. Hopefully he is up for the test!

Not sure Witherspoon could tackle a 5 year old. Maybe good in coverage but his tackling is brutal.Stone hands too.

His tackling is spotty. Sokmetimes he can wrap up, other times he can't. His coverage is almost elite and the dude balls out. He's improved massively and is phenomenal value for the 3rd round we drafted him in

That shot he put on Cook really effed the Saints game plan.

Wasn't a catch either

Early on in the game, he was giving himself up, making saving tackles with the ball runner going his way after missed tackles by the defense.
Wasn't a good tackling game for the defense

Agreed. I honestly don't know what a catch is anymore

No Sherman. Time to make that money. You're the #1 CB now.

You don't want your CB making a bunch of tackles, if they have to do that in a game, there's something wrong with the defense. There won't be enough CB left at the end of the year either. Hopefully yesterday's game defensively was outlier
