Tackling wasn't this kids game coming out of college but he has really improved in that area. Deon Sanders couldn't tackle to save his life so I am good with a CB that has elite coverage skills and limited tackling ability.

It has to be. They've played at such a high level all year, they were probably tired. Plus that offense is fast, they couldn't catch their breath because we were scoring so fast.

yeah that was a BS call...I mean you have to come down with the ball in possession. He clearly didn't. If any Saint fans complains about "holding" on a gunner on a trick play (which isn't illegal) you can point to this play. or Spoon not getting the OPI call on Thomas.

Throw in all the numerous no-calls on their OL for holding and blocks in the back on their WRs.

Honestly Saints don't have a leg to stand on regarding refs making bad calls last game.

But it didn't, and we could say the same about many of our players in every game. Jimmy G's Int's/fumbles, missed tackles, penalties, dropped passes, etc...
Spoon was in great position for those two picks too, so he is doing some things right out there.

I thought he covered really well. Tackling has always been a negative on him. People remembering the negative plays and are forgetting his smothering coverage on the 2 point conversion.
