He is playing with poor technique again.
I was overjoyed when I noticed they switched-him-out for E-Man on that final drive.
Without that move, Seattle calls different plays and probably wins that game.

In the beginning of the season he was brimming with confidence and anger about the prior season, he would not only be in position but have the confidence to turn around and make a play
Now after the injury, he is back in his head. He is in position on every completion made against him but so worried about giving up the play that he has lost all aggression. He doesnt turn around, he doesnt trust himself that he is in the right position to turn around so he just starts acting like a basketball player trying to defend a pass rather than a defensive back.
He just doesnt trust himself, its why he is a step behind or always has his back to the QB. He is ignoring his instinct and just trying to be in the WRs way. If he had the confidence in his instincts to break on the route one step sooner or turn around once he felt he had good position... Seattle would of never been close to winning the game.
Agree with this. Poor play throughout allowing Seattle to creep back into the game. I would trade him while he still has some value

Man. The hot takes in here are real.
Spoon is usually in good position. He definitely needs to work on getting his head around though.
Mosely made one helluva play on that slant, which was just as huge as Greenlaw's stop. But he was getting picked on up to that point too. Metcalf is a grown man.

I didn't touch the crow because even when he was playing well he was still getting away doing the same s**t that inevitably gets him smoked. This is from September.

He played a great game, but there's still a ton of room for improvement. On that big pass breakup on the vertical route, he gave Mike Evans a free release. Fortunately, Ahkello was able to widen and stack him.

I'm sorry I got caught up in the hype. He was actually making plays on the ball and his lack of physicality wasn't hurting him. Now that QBs are getting more time it's back to Akello watch receivers catch the ball and having no strength at the top of routes.

Hopefully, two weeks off and time to work on his technique will get him back to where he was earlier. It is often hard to pick back up in the middle of the season when a lot of the focus is on game packages, not technique.

I think they agree with you because the entire 2019 class is full of tough guys.

Hurd and Deebo are examples of them learning their lesson. Hurd is a 6'4 230pnd version of Deebo. Gonna be a fun year getting them both on the field together along with Kittle.

After Coach took Spoon out, the back end of our defense got better...more aggressive, tighter coverage. Metkalf's a beast and you have to play him tough & tight. Jimmy could use a big WR like him. Anyway, Mosely played the kind of defense you have to employ against Seattle...physical and tough. I really don't know if Spoon has the goods to ever become a premier CB.

hes got the size and length, and none of the mental toughness. Sad. He can't be part of the gameplan again when we play Seattle again in two weeks (no faith in the Eagles or Vikings. lets just call a spade a spade)

Mosely should continue to start. Acorn needs to sack up and make the tough decisions.

Dude needs to get tougher mentally.
