Him and Pettis can watch cartoons on their phones from the bench.
Good Bye, another high pick bust that we traded up for. Thanks Lynch.. Riding on Baalke's picks won't last forever.

Ahkello Witherspoon had 13 pass breakups in 2016, tied for most in the country. #49ers

That's because teams knew he could be tested and did so often. Like saying I eat a lot of salad because my fat ass puts lettuce on my bacon cheeseburgers

One thing I'll say for him, he could have gone and sulked and gotten all down and acted like a punk after being pulled but this guy was out there high fiving players and fist bumping and encouraging his teammates. I think he lacks confidence and it shows in his performance on the field, especially as he gives up catches and it starts to snowball on him but at least he manned up and handled it in the right way. Didn't see any negativity from him at all so kudos for that.

He'll have a fine career. But right now his confidence is totally shot and his technique is terrible. He's not THAT athletically gifted to overcome both. Play Moseley who is much more consistent. Lower upside for sure but higher floor.

Wow, an actual good summary of the situation. Thank you.

This is why I think he'll be fine eventually. He's a football player and a good teammate. He'll figure it out in time. But we don't have time right now.
