The corner opposit sherman has been a weak spot.

Yeah, definitely have to go corner early in the draft next year.

Just be grateful we stayed away from CJ Henderson this year

If he just turns around for the ball he's got a pick.

Thank god for the Kittle pick bc the rest turned out to be bad choices

Aside from kittle, warner, and greenlaw our front office sucks at drafting. Bosa, mcglinchy and Deebo dont count although we could have got greedy williams and traded back into the 2nd for Deebo or Aj brown.

I'm pretty sure mayo is Ahkello Witherspoon.

That's the only way to explain him not understanding why not turning around for the ball is NOT the issue here.

What is it then - he's great in coverage, but his downfall is he face guards all the time.

Sherman was a weak spot in the Superbowl.

He literally didn't get a finger on the receiver there, which is the biggest issue he's had going back to college. Not a single f**king finger. Red alarms should be going off your in head even if you're absolutely clueless about football. DBs are not taught to willingly give WRs free releases. Ahkello does this weekly.

I don't know how else to explain the not looking for the ball stuff. There are literally dozens of posts explaining why a DB is taught to NOT look for the ball until they're in the proper position(in phase) to control and disrupt a WRs route. This is what the NFL DB coaches teach. This isn't my opinion nor is it subjective. Imagine you're a DB turning around and looking for the ball without first being in the proper position and controlling a WR. All you're going to do is create even more space between yourself and the WR because you can't keep track of the WR and the ball at the same time. Furthermore, have you tried turning your head around while running? It slows you down. This is why you NEED to be in phase before looking for the ball.

Saleh, Sherman and others literally have stated, dozens of times, that Ahkello needs to work on winning at the LOS.

He does a good job keeping with the receiver. Most of the completions against him the ball literally almost hits him in the back of the helmet. If he would just turn around for a split second when the ball is about to arrive, he can make a play on the ball without gaining any separation with the receiver.

No, he doesn't. He literally tries to run stride-for-stride with WRs. That's not a good job. That's a terrible job, especially for a CB that is 6'3", 200 lbs.

Again, this is because he repeatedly puts himself in a bad position.

Running stride for stride is not a good job? So, your solution is he should play more press coverage? He still has to stay with his man.
