Played well. Should be cheap to re-sign.

Stop 2 good games doesn't mean he's all of a sudden turned it around

Agreed, but with zero CB's signed for next year we could do a lot worse for cheap backup.

Have a feeling he'll go wherever Saleh goes though possibly for the same reason.

If Saleh gets the Lions job, they won't have much cap room to sign FAs, yeah they'll gain about $20M if they trade or release Stafford before March 17th when his $10M roster bonus is due, but I hope we don't lose guys like Hyder to wherever Saleh ends up going.

Gotta question why Kliff match Hopkins Vs Verrett a majority of the game with Ahkello on the opposite side

Had to be because of the size difference but that's obviously a terrible reason lol
After he commited the holding in the endzone the camera made a close-up and he was saying "next play" doing a signal with his finger.

That´s what he has to do every time he makes a mistake and he´ll be a solid player because he has the speed and the long arms to be at least an average CB.

I wouldn´t resign him but we have 0 corners signed and he´ll be cheap so at least I´d think about it.

I think Hyder would want to stay wherever Kokurek is because it's with him when he produces big numbers. He didn't do much without him.

Spoon is and always will be an enigma. I'd bring him back on a one-year deal.

He's inconsistent. He plays really well some games, and others he is atrocious. Might be a confidence thing

Its games like today that make me sad to see Saleh go. It has been a wild ride with him but hats off to the work he has done. Came into a lot of heat early on, then gained praise last year. Thus year with all the injuries he has done an incredible job. I will be rooting for him to do well wherever he goes. Wouldn't be shocked if he 3nds up somewhere other than Detroit.

It is 100% a mental issue. Physically, he has all the tools.

He's soft and that's not something that goes away

This is my fear. That Saleh gets the job and because as you said, they don't have a ton of cap space, he's going to look to pick up cheap but productive options.

Re-signing our starters is important but having our depth eroded underneath us because guys want to play for Saleh is a concern.

And that Lions D has more than enough holes to entice depth guys with extra snaps.
If Witherspoon would come back for the minimum, I am down for that. Witherspoon is a hot and cold player, but can be good when he is right, for the minimum that is a good return on investment.
His upper body especially his arms looked bigger today. Perhaps he got motivated a bit after we cut Dante "Noodle Arms" Pettis and Spoon finally found his way to the weight room! He looked good today.
I don't trust this guy. It's probably the playing for a contract scenario. The ONLY way I'd bring him back is on a team friendly deal and play for your spot. Nothing will be given.
