Kinda feels like it. Those type of scenarios make it so frustrating when draft positions are at stake. I guess a GM like Lynch would be all over this.

I said it after they signed Sherman and moved Spoon to the other side he was playing poorly. I felt that he was a left side CB. He just doesn't look comfortable on the right side.

He's worked his butt off and gotten stronger DURING the season. Spoon has had confidence issues but has flashed every single season. But he needs to be consistent from week 1 to week 17 going forward, whether it be in SF or elsewhere.

Feel so happy for him though. He's definitely an NFL caliber CB and should stick around for some time as long as he continues to put in the work and stays confident. He gets to face his nemesis DK Metcalf this week. Interested in seeing how he fares against him!

Sorry Izy... but I'm a believer of the saying " if you can cover, you can cover " .. he never had to be a shut down corner because, WHO IS, but the least he can do is hold his own..

Varrett is one of the guys who showed evryone that he can just play in this league... i remember him getting torched back to back last year when he was healing, then this year, almost 100% healthy, he showed all how good a CB he is..

The key is whether or not we get consistent pressure. If we do, he will be fine... but if hes left alone for too long and is forced to make a play on the ball, more often than not he panics.

Witherspoon is his worst against slot, crafty good route-running WRs imo. Mike Thomas was putting a clinic on him last year just off route running.

I actually can see him be passable vs Metcalf if he doesnt lose the sight of the ball.

Yes, if by passable you mean he'll allow DK Metcalf to pass by him without laying a finger on him, you are absolutely correct.
