Got it. Heres the thing though. We're missing our hall of fame inside line backe our hall of fame dt our flash in the pan speed rush sensation a healthy bow a healthy soap our run defending hit machine from free safety and our head hunting strong safety.
So our game manager will need to make a few plays.

Great quote from joe when asked about the brilliant passing strategy behind the record setting long yardage: "I throw it short. They take it long."

Why are we talking about this in the cj thread?
How did we not win it? How about a HC and OC that were just terrible, and literally pizzed a W away. Blame it on our QB, but to me that was just a 4+ FAIL on playcalling. Our HC and his OC choked. Period.

You can't just blame them. If you're talking about the turnover on downs at the end of super bowl that ended with a play that was a fade to crabs then it's more than just the coaching staffs fault. Yes, some of those plays were poor choices because I don't think a single fade in the corner of
He endzone worked during their entire tenure here but there was also previous plays that had people wide open, like Delani walked etc. so it was poor plays and poor reads by our qb and bad defense by our defense. They were injured but still didn't do a very good job, especially since they were historically good until the injuries happened

It was our staple...totally ill prepared to start the game, wasted a whole half, refs let the Ravens get away with murder because they hated Jim, Jim calls a panicky T.O. because once again, he couldn't get the play off on time, outcoached again, didn't recognize they were running a zero blitz for 4 straight plays so we had no easy outlet even after the T.O., CK stuck to the one read every time, etc.
That whole series was a micocasm of the same issues from coaching to play calling to no QB development.

Kap wasn't ready. Thats a lil offending to Alex, he did enough. Yall forget against the saints he had a great game. Probably best of his career. No championship game without Alex.
Saints had 5 turnovers. Game should not have been close. Bar for Alex is always low.

QB was fine. The problem was the D giving up almost 40 pts. Sick and tired of people re-writing history to fit their agenda.
The reffing was also atrocious. Lamichael James fumbling inside the 20. So many people to blame but it's easy to blame the QB I guess when it's Kap.
