I agree with that. If we were going to lose picks over a quarterback than it should have been Davis Webb, but hell, what do I know?

As much as Jon Snow

I had high hopes for CJ, but it doesn't look like he has that it factor, which is disappointing considering where he was drafted.

What do you base that on? Geez, his career hasn't even begun.

Well Shanahan himself said Beathard is tough as nails, which is one of the main reasons he drafted the guy.

they can spin it as they want and most here will swallow it. but he was not worth trading up and losing picks over in my opinion

And hopefully your opinion is proven wrong.

I fapped for Kap. Now I will beat hard for Beathard.

Can this be pinned as the new WZ motto?

Someone is going to cash in on #BeatHard tee-shirts.

Yes, losing that 6th or 7th rounder, whatever it was, was demoralizing. It set us back at least 4 years.

That's ridiculous considering he hasn't even played a snap in a preseason yet.

LOL ... he was the 104th pick in the draft. #1's wash out all the time in this league. And 7 practices into the season you make this kind of statement. Zone gonna zone I guess.

I'm going by what the reports are coming out of the practices. There's hardly been any reports on how CJ's been doing. So, I take it as he's not been impressing much. Now, NCommand has a link to reports on CJ and that can sway my opinion. Again, I'm just going by reports coming from our reporters.

LOL Maybe you should actually watch him play a game before you make ridiculous statements like this.

It's all good! I've read everything including all the podcasts. My take away is he's getting more comfortable every day. He has outstanding leadership per the coaches, a type A, insatiable appetite to learn (everything), is a perfectionist, etc.

He's struggled with accuracy and sometimes it looks really bad.

His experience in college is certainly translating into this offense nicely. I genuinely give him a legit shot at the #2. We'll see if he's a gamer soon. That said, Kyle is in absolutely no hurry to develop him or force the action but that's not up to him. That's up to BeatHard
