I am going to change my tune on this guy and just believe in the system. I have to believe that this guy will be more like Brady then the guys Baalke used to pick and then cut in training camp. Kyle should be able to take an unknown guy ala Brady, and turn him into a household name.

This guy is definitely going to be better than Matt freaking Barkley. I really do believe that, AT LEAST.

They will cut Barkley after the 53 man cuts.

Idk about that, Matt Barkley with real coach has a chance to shock ppl..he's a young kid who has talent who needs real coaching..I'm intrigued to see Shanny work with both of Barkley and Beathard..

It really is interesting that Shanny saw something in Beathard that separated him from the rest of the QBs remaining. Would love to know what that was.

8 for 19 for 66 yards 6.7 QBR. He looked rattled. Pressure kept getting to him, but WRs weren't getting open either.

Don't get me wrong, I saw the film. The arm talent, footwork, and pro off. experience is there but let's not just start making ish up lol.

I'm pretty sure Shanahan already said Hoyer is the starter, Barkley is the backup, and Beathard is a multi-year development player. Maybe he's just blowing smoke, but I really don't think he's part of their immediate plans.

I don't see much of a weak arm on throws he had to put some heat on..Accurate on the run with bootlegs, sneaky athletic, has touch on the ball when needed, needs more work but what basically 4 round QB doesn't..
