2018 NFL mock draft: The year of the quarterback is soon to be at hand
It's a year away, but the 2018 NFL draft looks to have a huge QB class.
By David Fucillo

We will draft our franchise Qb next year, I will keep saying it. CJ is a Qb Kyle can maybe groom.

This next draft is loaded with Qb's Kyle will get his Qb next year, whether its darnold or not.

We will get 5 wins with Hoyer in this division tops.

Sadly, I know longer trust Shanny's opinion on QBs. Regardless of how many QBs are projected to be studs next draft, how many of them will fit Kyle's offense?? Maybe 1, maybe none. Maybe he just doesn't want to teach a young top prospect QB his way and have the pressure of grooming a new QB quickly and just cops out and goes after Cousins.

Yes, "apparently, he wanted to draft Derek Carr" But was Derek Carr looked at as a top 5 pick in 2014? No. So remember not every great or even future HOF QB is even compatible with the genius Kyle Shanahan. All I'm getting at is: don't get your hopes up.

How do you like your crow?

You might want to give that some thought because the odds of you being correct are made very long by history.

I fapped for Kap. Now it's time to beat hard for Beathard. I really hope he thought up of a cool TD celebration gesture and calls it Beatharding.

Based on what? Because He didn't want Kap and didn't draft Kizer.

All you've shown is that you really don't even understand what Kyle's offense is.

I just gave it some more thought actually, I should have written, "no" instead of "know".

Based on the type of QBs he loves to work with: Schaub/Hoyer/Cousins/Beathard/Barkley/etc. Outside of Matt Ryan who was already a stud, it's pretty obvious the type of QBs this guy only works with. Even Mike Mayock compared Beathard to Schaub........TO.....SCHAUB! That's what Kyle's eye loves to look for, sadly. Now let's see how many of those top prospect QBs in the 2018 draft stack up in terms of being like Schaub. I doubt many.

Don't see the drama. Just the potential.

How do you see the "throw before WR finishes his route"? Are you watching all22? Can you link me?
Kyle has been clear about what he sees in the kid. Seems like a low-ceiling/high-floor guy to me, but what do I know? I'm rooting for him like any good fan should.

Really.....I'm sure he would have loved to work with Luck, Rodgers, Brees, Brady etc. Much like how his father loved to work with Young and Elway.

None of the guys you've mentioned were drafted before the third round. You have nothing to base your opinion on what he would like in a first round QB. All we know is that he wasnt a huge fan of a QB class that seems pretty weak.

I think this is what Kyle said about CJ after his film study of him. I remember hearing him talk about CJ accuracy and talking about just this and noticing what shoulder of the WR he was putting the throws.

Easiest to look at the video on page 4 of the thread (with the volume off). At minute 1:30. He does it.
I don't do analysis, just observe, but that's one of the things I saw. Ergo, he can do it.

Agree strongly with this, I'm not sure why people are saying on here that he doesn't
From what I've seen it looks like his OC was somewhat hesitant to let him throw the deep ball
But when he does it looks great
