Obviously Shanahan saw more in Beathard. Lynch was a 1st round pick so he was clearly useless. I dont really see the two situations as comparable. Denver still struggling at qb.

Put it this way, I suspect Shanahan knows more about quarterbacks than we do.

CJ be like

Sigh. All that arm strength and no accuracy.

Making that statement off one bad throw. Jimmy has done that 6-7 times.

I love Beathard but that's not the only time he's made a bad throw. He overthrew a wide open Aiyuk multiple times as well. He has to get better with that. He's consistently been the least accurate of the three, and that's just an honest assessment.

Still, I would love to see him get one last chance to start if Jimmy isn't healthy, not just coming off the bench in mop-up duty.

Jimmy is also being paid alot more to not be that Inconsistent with his throws.

Look at his feet as he releases the ball. That's just awful.

What's up with our QBs stepping towards the left sideline to make a throw down the middle of the field? I guess the crazy arm talent that has come into the league lately has made mechanics an afterthought. Our guys don't have that kind of arm talent lol

Maybe he will have to rehab like Alex one of these days.See how tough he really is.

I can respect a good hard hit with intent to injure but to intentionally jump on a defenseless player trying to pull him down awkwardly to break his leg again and then brag about it...If he's willing to do that to Alex he's licking his chops at the idea of going after last years division champions qbs bum ankle

Yeah, I see Jimmy not stepping toward the receiver all the time. He's got to fix that.

This and what CharlieSheen is describing are not the same.

CJ has terrible footwork. I've noticed a lot of s**tty QBs(Mitch Trubisky comes to mind) doing that perpendicular step. I've heard some QB coaches call it a swinging gate. It's a really bad flaw because they eliminate a lot of their entire lower body from the throw. On the flip side, Mahomes somehow has the same issues and gets away with doing this.

IT doesn't matter who that someone is.. the point is we're not giving that SOMEONE a chance because Shanny doesn't want to look bad for drafting this guy in the 3rd round, or for drafting this guy at all...

Lynch, Rosen, and pretty soon it will be Trubisky who's out of work... all 1st rounders, yet, we've managed to somehow keep CJ... who we kidding?

YOU??
If he doesn't start next week after Mullens turned it over multiple times again, it's clear we're tanking.

At least Beathard is fun to root for. Sick of watching Big Pick Nick.

Yeah and dudes here want us to be like Denver and draft a rookie QB to solve all of our problems and achieve peace in the Middle East at the same time.

No chance of JG losing the start next season.

That bomb was badass by CJ yesterday. Let the man play for God's sake Kyle!
