This is the WCO, people...ain't nobody got time for spread!

For me, it's nothing personal towards the individuals but I would love for all the spread QB to flop. Perhaps, this would force top schools to run real offenses and get the best players playing real football. Because honestly, there's maybe 5-10 college teams I can stand to watch. Spread football is just s**t to watch. I get the schematic reason why, but it's terrible to watch. And just so it's clear, shotgun offense doesn't equal spread.

And competed 52 percent of his passes. A different era, but still!
Tom Brady came out of college in the third round as nothing special as well.

Where's that numerology guy when you need him. Those were epic posts. Useless, but epic just the same.

AstroNiner? The one that used astrology to predict the future?

He did call harbaughs firing, 9ers downfall, retirements, and Jimmy, Chips hiring and firings.

That guy was amazing. Haven't seen him post in a while

I think if he had played for a certain coach at Stanford during this time his numbers would have been quite different

Niners management would have been laughed at.

Montana did lead the Fighting Irish to a Nation Championship and the famous Chicken soup bowl so he was already categorised as a winner.

I guess no one will ever know. Well, apart from AstroNiner
The most famous game in Montana's college career.

I agree. I wish more colleges ran pro-style offenses, but I understand why they go spread. Gives them a better chance to win with the wider hashmarks, spacing, bad tackling defenses..etc. We're still seeing some good QBs enter the league every year who can play, but I feel theres exponentially more now who can't play at all.

It's really too bad. It's like a pre med surgeon and he's given a screwdriver to work with, then, he graduates and is asked to perform surgery on a real person with tools he's never seen before with a room of assistants waiting for his leadership.

I counted 6 total draftable QB's that were in the pro-style last year and none went before the 3rd round (our guy). Fans are so enamored with H-W-S.

Montana would have been in the 5th percentile on SPARQ. Same with Brady. LOL

The only spread QB I've really liked over the last 5 or so years is Mariota. Luck really is my biggest QB crush in the last decade though. He was the totally package. Honestly, Luck with Kyle would be my football grant-a-wish situation.

Anyone have info on bethard's health?
Seems like he beat himself to hell over the years with his play style.

Gotta gave a good base to play qb, so im worried about his legs. Seems like he was gimpy a lot. Hope he does not have some chronically bad groin injury.

Anyone got the info?
