Singlehandedly lost us the 1992 no-punt game vs Buffalo . Still even as a loss one of my favorite games of all-time....almost 600 yards of WCO goodness while missing Jerry for 3 quarters.
I hated that dude with every fiber of my being!
Some Buffalo Buffoon fans thought we actually had some kind of rivalry lol

For me, it's nothing personal towards the individuals but I would love for all the spread QB to flop. Perhaps, this would force top schools to run real offenses and get the best players playing real football. Because honestly, there's maybe 5-10 college teams I can stand to watch. Spread football is just s**t to watch. I get the schematic reason why, but it's terrible to watch. And just so it's clear, shotgun offense doesn't equal spread.
It's really too bad. It's like a pre med surgeon and he's given a screwdriver to work with, then, he graduates and is asked to perform surgery on a real person with tools he's never seen before with a room of assistants waiting for his leadership.
I counted 6 total draftable QB's that were in the pro-style last year and none went before the 3rd round (our guy). Fans are so enamored with H-W-S.
Montana would have been in the 5th percentile on SPARQ. Same with Brady. LOL
Steve Young ruined football by winning SBs! LOL! Now every GM thinks he is going to find a running QB who can play in the pocket. They forget...coaching!

On the bright side, he finally nailed the hair/facial hair combo that makes him look the most socially-acceptable.
Don't like the goatee tbh. Makes him look like this one dude I knew in HS who was a complete douche lol.
Have you seen what he looks like clean shaven?
Nope, no thank you, HELL no.

C.J. Beathard is going to have to ice his arm after all work he saw in 1-on-1, 7-on-7 and team drills. Slot WR Trent Taylor nice showing.

Windy day, but I thought he navigated the conditions well. Ball came out of his hand very well. Looked like he was making all the throws.

Fun fact: C.J. Beathard was the ONLY QB that Kyle Shanahan wanted in this draft. Inside the @49ers draft room:

He will be ready to go sooner.
I'm starting to like this guy. I Will do some more studying and analysis and will report back.
C.J.knows how to handle a press conference that much is clear. Even if just serves as a Steve Bono type for the franchise QB we find next year this pick may prove to to worth it.

Bobby Beathard would be proud. He always like a value pick in the mid round. Ironic his grandson could be one.

1. C.J. Beathard slung the rock, has some things to work on
All eyes were on San Francisco's third-round pick, and although he was surrounded by a makeshift supporting cast, there was plenty to like from Beathard. He threw both some touch passes and rocketed a few lasers over the middle, connecting on one with tight end George Kittle for a sizable gain. His arm and his size passed the initial test with flying colors. Where Beathard needs most work is on the bootleg, a staple of Kyle Shanahan's offense. After rolling to both his right and left, passes lost some accuracy. It'll be a point of emphasis the rest of the spring and throughout training camp. Shanahan was more hands off today than he was last week during voluntary veteran minicamp. But they'll be plenty of tape to look at in the film room.
