Ikr?!
I really like the pick and will be rooting for the kid all day. Nonetheless, if this dude turns out to be nothing more than a mere scrub, this thread is going to be quite hilarious to look back on

He will be ready to go sooner.
I'm starting to like this guy. I Will do some more studying and analysis and will report back.
C.J.knows how to handle a press conference that much is clear. Even if just serves as a Steve Bono type for the franchise QB we find next year this pick may prove to to worth it.
Damn I member the times when he had Montana, Young, AND Bono.

If we like fat QBs we should just convince Nate Davis to come out of retirement

Buffed QB's usually suck. They make good RB's though.

Was just watching the CJ Beathard intro news conference and he said that he would rather throw for 150yds and win then throw for 300 and lose. Seems as though we have heard that sentiment before. I can already see the battle lines being drawn. Could probably type up a list right now of posters who are going to be giving this guy s^^t from the get go. Can't say I am particularly vested in any of the team's QBs right now. Certainly don't think Hoyer is the answer, have no opinion at all on Barkley and am taking a wait and see attitude towards the rookie. Hopefully one of them will step and help make the team competitive this year, or at the very least slightly more respectable than last year.

Just waiting for next year, when it's either going to be Cousins, Garoppolo are a high draft pick.
