Damn, possibly Jones too out for the rest of the season? Would be a tough one as he's continued to improve and is a presence in the middle of the DL.
Every team has injuries...the Niners seem to be hit with more than their fair share but they have to work through it. With injuries, concussion symptoms on high alert, etc., I really hope the league looks at expanding the rosters by at least a few players.

I don't see how they can get a new CBA without expanding the 46/53 rosters to at least 48/55.

And just like that.. half of our key players on DL are gone. We are missing critical players at every level.

The blows never stop do they? We really need that bye now to get some of our minor injuries healed up. If we can get Dee, Sherm, Tartt and K'Waun back at least close to 100% for the playoffs our defense should be alright. However it looks like our offense, and Jimmy will have to carry the load from this point on to January.

You have guys playing on bone chips in their ankles, all sorts of injuries but they're softer than baby s**t...

Jones is critical to plugging run lanes on early downs. Ford is pivotal to creating pressure on passing down. Alexander, Tartt, and Sherman are critical to coverage holding up on all downs. Collectively, these are massive losses. We have got to find a way to keep our top two LBs healthy, and keep our secondary healthy.
Getting that bye is going to be crucial. We need Ford and Sherman. If Jones is out, all we can hope for is that Taylor and Street really step up big-time.
