Yea i worry evrytime a player gets injured even if they say its not significant. How many times did shanahan say that last year? Than it turned out it was a significant injury
Hope he's not out for a couple weeks. He's already massively out of shape. He needs practice!

Is he though? He's always been a high BMI guy. Legit question, I'm not aware of his current health.

Re: Injury...the plot thickens. Another test soon. Sheesh, this better not turn out to be a total disaster.
Yes he is, he spent so much time rehabbing this off season. He sucking wind 10 straight days now

That sucks. I had an injury last year and couldn't do cardio for 6 months. When I was finally able, it was like running through mud--I was so out of shape.

I spent the next 2 months doing hiit training on a resistance bike trainer and when I finally ran again I was back to my old self. Resistance hiit is super low impact.

What I'm saying is...it shouldn't be too hard to keep cardio up even when sidelined, hopefully he'll get his butt into gear.
I love DJ as a player, but he's always hurt. Dude is unreliable. We need to move on next year.

Disagree with you bro, especially if he comes at a discounted rate because of the injuries. If Armstead, Ward and Verrett can have so many chances, then why can't DJ? Kid is a stud and absolutely worth the risk vs reward

It's beginning to look that way, he gets injured often. I'd still like some patience with him to see if he can put it all together. Unless the coaches see something obvious with how he prepares (lack of) and how it leads to injuries.

I think it doesn't hurt to have more patience. If DJ was like Reuben Foster or the Alcoholic Aldon Smith, yes - got to let him go - but so far from a personality point of view, he's not had any problems. Also the talent is there - how DJ road graded Green Bay's center was awesome to behold. We just need him to be healthy. Hope the shoulder thing isn't serious. If it is, then next man up.
The tests coming back inconclusive can only be good news right? If it was something like a seperated shoulder or torn labrum, they would know from the 1st test I would think.

Yup, we've known this for a while since NC reached out to one of Kocurek's former players, and he was kind enough to give us a breakdown of DL and the type of players they need for it all to work.
