Even if DJJ was durable, Poona Ford is a better player. He was on my wishlist. Poona Ford has a lot of Grady Jarrett in his game--squatty and powerful. He's one of the better interior DL in the league.

I thought I saw that tweet, but he was a RFA, we weren't getting him anyway, they likely tendered him the 2nd rd tender to be safe, like how Dallas tagged Dak anyway in case the deal wasn't official today.

What an amazing day. Williams Mack and Jones all in one day!!! Plus solly GONE. This easily the best fa day ever for SF. Better than when we signed anquon.

he's got a quick burst for his size. i don't think he can be a consistent starter, but he's a great backup to have, especially at that price. i just wished we locked him in for 3-4 more years. he's a perfect DT back up that has also shown pass rush ability.

Trent, Juice, Verrett, DJ, and Moseley retained, Ebukam and Mack added. Quite the offseason for Lynch and Paraag. All we need now is K'Waun and all out important free agents are back.

I agree hes not a full time 3 down player but he makes us a solid front on running downs.

Not sure how they did it, but I'm thankful. DJ's important and has proven his worth. Givens can be part of the rotation, but Jonesy is a must at NT. I'd still like to see them re-sign Willis...think he could reach his full potential under Kocurek. Love how our braintrust is re-signing so many of our proven vets. Shows how good our roster really is.

That's the one I was keeping my eye on.

I forget who posted it, but he got a 2yr $14M deal from Seattle, never was an option as a RFA, they weren't gonna tender him low, which would be no compensation, I do like him a lot, good player, especially for his size, but here's to hoping DJ can play well.

I love that. Hope he is going back in better shape than last year...i suspect a problem with weight or injuries...
