You have to keep DJ, when he's off the field, the team has no true run stuffing big man NT, I'd go 5yr $6M a yr, I think he's earned it.

Whiffner.

DJ Jones has been a damn good player since day 1. One of the best picks this regime has made.

Agreed, in 2017 the best picks were Kittle & Jones, 2017 was a bad draft overall, but provided 2 starters, and 1 of them being an All Pro.

Yup. Jones is the one guy I want to retain from our IDL.

+2. His only drawback somewhat has been to stay healthy. When he's in there, he's a force in the middle. Moves incredibly well for a guy his size and makes plays.

Of the true IDL, I'd keep DJ, and Kinlaw, I want to see what he can do healthy, as for guys like Street, Hurst, & Givens, only on minimum deals to battle in camp. Armstead stays IMO, he's been one of our best DL this year.

I can't remember how often he was hurt, I know he ended up 2019 on IR, 2020 I can't remember, but 2021 he's played every game, maybe he's overcome whatever was the issue.

Yep Kinlaw and DJ Jones should be slated in as our 2022 starters in the middle. We still havent seen what Hurst has so we will see if he is worth bringing back. We will probably look to draft for some run stuffers as well. You can get some good run stuffing specialist in the mid rounds

DJ Jones is the only guy they should keep if they plan to keep the wide 9 moving forward. This season has highlighted the need to rebuild that interior group. We need more beef, and Kinlaw to be healthy(and become good).

I had high hope for Hurst but they guy is always hurt. The rest of the interior lineman need to be released and we need to start over. Personally i think it's time to scrap the wide 9 base formation. I'd have no issue giving DJ a 3 year deal.

Agreed Justin, keep Kinlaw & DJ, I want to see Hurst, but injured too much, I'd re-sign Street & Givens as they're RFA & ERFA respectively, I'd give Street a 1yr $1.515M deal($965K base, $50K signing bonus, $400K per game roster bonus, & $100K workout bonus, only $50K GTD), Givens would be non GTD $895K tender.

As for Hurst, 1yr league minimum deal.

I'd get DJ signed to a 5yr deal, he's young, will keep getting better, get him under contract longer while he's cheaper, but of course team friendly deal, easy out after year 2.

I like how the TE that caught the fake field goal tried to juke DJJ with a shoulder fake as if DJJ was going to change direction. He's 300 pounds, he's not changing direction while sprinting.

DJ is DA MAN, I love him, I felt he was the teams future NT after the first 2 yrs, when Earl Mitchell was let go of, but 2019 he got hurt, we brought Mitchell back for playoffs, hope they re-sign DJ, and also give Darrion Daniels a chance, as the backup NT, cause right now, Givens is listed as Jones' backup, he's too small to play NT IMO.
Great hustle by DJ! However, I felt like rams would have succeeded on that 4th down attempt, if it was 4th and 4 instead of 4th and 8.... Thank goodness DJ came up with that stop

One of the most irrational playcalls I've seen. There was 12 seconds left. What were the odds of them making it a 1 score game, if the fake was successful?
