IMO I dont see another team putting him on their active roster...not with 1,000+ players being cut in 24 hrs. Good for him making the squad

I'm just wondering if any of the drafted pass rushers in this years draft cycle have been cut? I"m thinking if the answer is no - then I think it was a pretty smart move on ShanaLynch's part to protect Pita from the Waiver Wire.

He must have showed something in practice towards the end cause he's pretty raw. Not sure what he brings as far as STs. Honesty at this pt I don't see him active on game day.

Like you said youth was the winner today.
Somewhat surprised he made the 53. I thought we could've stashed him on the PS. He would probably end up being an inactive for most of the season.

It shows you how important edge rushers are in this scheme. Lynch, Thomas, Watson, Pita, Elvis, AA, Tank, Blair, etc.

We are definitely relying on the defense to dosimeter damage.

If Pita develops into a all pro level pass rusher (big if there) this draft might be as good as the '86 draft with Charles Haley. Solomon, Rueben, BeatHard etc... if these guys become solid and you add Pita as a possible Elvis Dumerville 2.0 this will be one hell of a draft.

It's way way too early, but i am already thinking along those lines, Giedi.

Plus we've added Cooper. We are really risking it all not getting a vet at the corner position.

Not much risk when you are in year one of a roster rebuild. Makes sense to keep and develop young talent
He's a good development player. Maybe he'll unseat Harold one day as a SAM.

Seriously.. Give the boy some f**king humus to put on his pita before the game and lets see what hes got.

Maybe a 4th quarter special when everyones tired?

Absolutely. I for one am bitterly disappointed that the 202nd pick did not go on to become an instant starter after 6 games.

It's madness.
