He was so high risk for penalties the way he played too.

Always expected a flag when he was involved.
Flash in the pan.
this is what happen when a young player believes too early from all the HYPE!!!

Cannot overstate this.

I was on his hype train big time after 2017. Damn
Got a big head, got injured, got released.
Reminds me of Rashard Robinson. Tons of hype after their rookie year. Then went straight down hill.
Meh, was big time overrated here
Is he practice squad eligible by chance?

Couldn't stay healthy and was a coverage liability...the irony is the two starters we kept have the same problems.

I don't think so - too much regular season playing time.

However, he was waived/injured, so if he clears waivers he can go on 49ers IR.

Yall can hate now that he's not on the team.

Expect Seattle to pick him up. Size and elite speed and a chip on his shoulder. Won't need him right away, and can let him heal up. See how their starters do early in the season.

We have yet to see this bite us with cuts.

True... but from a former starter who's still young?

I'm not worried. He had a solid rookie season and he had us all hyped for his future, but he has glaring holes in his game that got exposed the more he played. Too many mental errors for a 3rd year player.
