Safety is one of the most important positions and most of the ones that were drafted in the first round the previous years (Adams, James, Fitzpatrick, edmunds, savage) are great ones. It is a position we should have addressed years ago and we are still in the same position with ward and tartt

Is now on toot PS
Former #49ers safety Adrian Colbert signed to the Seattle Seahawks' practice squad, per source. A former 7th-Round pick in 2017, Colbert started 12 games for San Francisco over the last two seasons.

Except half those guys you mentioned are CBs, and also, Moore is the starter, not Ward.

Its ridiculous fans are like this. The 49ers cut him and he was literally out of a job with no paycheck coming in. Pretty sure you'd sign with anyone too.

The NFL disagrees with you. Historically safeties are drafted lower then just about any other position.
And in recent years, they are also the last big names free agents to sign.

Why the hell does that help Seattle, we run their same basic defense. Oh, I guess for offensive Intel but that's not usually relevant when you get that far into the season. The reason is he knows the basic defense so it's not that hard for him to acclimate.
