Good job. Nice for shanny to wait until cream puff of the universe to start the kid. Smart. We lucked out on a few throws but he executed shannys design perfect, pretty much everything right down the middle to the open man. Nice. Catchable balls. No pocket disasters. A debut. Maybe A+.

Wow! Happy for us and happy for him. Troy and Joe were saying the kid would go over the entire playbook after the game. It's crazy how the kid has to shine to hear a report like that! So is there a backup controversy? Not sure if Mullen's got a little lucky and the Raiders are just that bad,but from the reports this kid is battle ready! I also like his demeanor and field presence better than Beathard. Not that Beathard is bad, but he plays the cool smooth QB and his game just doesn't fit it. Other than JOE, I like fiery QB's. Not annoying... more emotional vocal leaders that holds everyone accounted.

Loved his confidence in this game, even though it was against the worst team in the NFL. Still feels good to blowout the Raiders though.
One thing I noticed about Nick is he never took a real shot downfield, everything was 5-10 yard throws, which is fine when it's his first start.
Also he got blitzed I think 1 time the whole game, where CJ faced a blitz probably 9-10 times a game.
Still proud for BDN! I hope he starts against big blue!
