It would be amazing if he turns out to be our version of Brady. Let's enjoy this ride with Mullins.

One thing I noticed about Nick is he never took a real shot downfield, everything was 5-10 yard throws, which is fine when it's his first start.
Also he got blitzed I think 1 time the whole game, where CJ faced a blitz probably 9-10 times a game.
Still proud for BDN! I hope he starts against big blue!
he definitely got blitzed way more. however it makes a difference when you get the ball out on time and have a faster release

Nick has a faster Processor then CJ Molasses...but its back to turnover zone.
I'm right here....I was wrong....Go Nick!!!
I was wrong as well. His ball placement previously looked much worse. Only had a few bad throws. He looked solid out there. And deserves a start next.
Still though it's not fair to write C.J. off as being worse when teams had more than 2 days to study him. Plus C.J. didn't have the luxury of playing against a defense close to as bad as the raiders . Rams. Chargers. Cardinals. Packers even have a better D and C.J. looked great out there. Made throws that Nick dreams of making.
Lol!!! Yeah, the whole 10 points against the Rams and 18 and 15 vs the Cardinals. Yeah, CJ was Steve Young those games.

Do your best Brett Faver impression and throw 40 yard picks.
Tanking is for losers.

I was thinking that too.

looked exactly like jimmy did last season. When shanahan kept it simple for him. As soon as he has to start making reads and decisions, he'll suck.

Totally agree. BDN has a very quick release.

It looked like the Raiders brought a lot of pressure last night but Mullen's was able to get the ball out quick. If CJ was playing I bet we would of seen a lot more sacks.
Raiders defensive gameplay probably would of worked against CJ.

Mullens will need to win multiple games and beat a couple decent teams before he can be crowned.
But Beathard on the other hand, if a backup can fetch a 4th to 6th round pick I'd take that for sure if Mullens keeps looking like this.
I would never trade him. Especially with Jimmy and CJ getting hit alot.

Keep him next year but of course start JG. I think dumping CJ may be a possibility if someone bites in a trade.
I want Mullen's around in case we find out JG is not durable or if he really regresses after the injury. Like having a backup plan. If JG does great next year then you may start thinking about trading Mullen's for a big haul.

We don't do trades.
