QB Nick Mullens is now a Viking

The biggest crime tonight from this guy was that he missed Juszczyk in the first quarter for a check down, Samuel in the 2nd quarter for a check down, and McKinnon in the 3rd quarter for a check down which could have resulted in first downs and nice gains. He has to let the YAC do their thing.
Nick Mullins had about the same type of game as Goff today. And somehow that makes me smile
The one good thing about this game, is it might be the last time we see Aaron Donald this year.

So hopefully with Deebo, Aiyuk, and Reed out there ..and the threat of Mostert.. we can look better on offense. With hopefully the Oline jelling, Nick will get his head out of his ass and get some rhythm going.

That missed pass to Reed could have been chalked up as a miss pass that QBs have at times, but he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt anymore... Especially with us having other issues. Can't miss those plays.

Also those potential INTs that are dropped, that get forgot about...

so yeah, that all being sais...he did his part at the end of the game. That just gives him another chance to get something going. He has enough weapons now, no team has talent everywhere or healthy... you just need good enough personnel with some threats, and you as a QB do your part to make use of those weapons.

we won in spite of him. had he not had deebo. the missed throw to reed was . hope jimmy is on his way
Has he ever won 2 games in a row?
This is why you always want your backup to be mobile. The backup is rarely better than the starter, so to fill in those instances where the backup won't make THAT play, he should just run.
Will never forgive him for missing Juice wide open at beginning of Dolphins game. Or was it Eagles.

That was brutal, Reed would've had a td or at worst get ran down near the goal line. Just so many missed plays with this guy, Kyle is going to need to continue calling great games and guys are going to need to continue getting yac

eagles,,, that was the low point of our season. nick gets the blame totally. we have to find ways to win in spite of him
Kittle Me This...

Let's just say what if...

If Mullens keeps winning games and let's say wins out and we make playoffs. But Jimmy becomes healthy and ready to play before game 1 of the playoffs.

Do you ride with Mullens or do you put Jimmy in no matter what?

Jimmy hands down, unless Mullens is throwing the ball like Rodgers or Mahomes then you consider riding his wave but that's not happening in this world. Jimmy should be back by the AZ game, that'll give him a full 8 weeks of recovery more than the usual 4-6 weeks for a high ankle sprain

Too early to say that... folks would need to see how Mullens plays.. if he gets his head out of his ass, and it's lights out play...and he's consistent on that run. IMO you keep him in there. If it's inconsistent play but we still win, and Jimmy looks great in practice and legit looks healthy.. then Jimmy gets in there.

Now that's how I view it, but as far as how Kyle and many others view it.. if Jimmy is not all the way healthy and is basically a statue, but can catch the snap and throw the ball... Kyle will call nothing but shotgun plays if he can get Jimmy in there.
