If Mullens can win 2-3 more games under the current roster, the trade talk for Mullens will be insane. There are some teams starving for good quarterbacking.

Mullen's Looks like a keeper at the back up quarterback, and that's not me just saying it after one game we have all seen him in the preseason against scrubs but it's the way he plays not who he is playing against.

I love that there's some hope back in this site but personally its too early to crown him as the back up. Of course if he keeps it up then by all means we keep him as the main 2nd stringer. I love this guys passion for the game and is a good poster boy of the type of guy that Lynch wants.

it was a mistake to release him after the preseason but now CJs job might be up for grabs if mullens can do it a few more times this year. CJ has a knack for losing close games at the end, Nick deserves a shot to prove he can keep this goin

Yeah I really hope we get to see Mullens with the ball with a chance to win. CJ has proven he cant do anything, so hopefully Mullens gets a shot.

True, but I don't think anyone is crowning him. Nick Montana will need to do it a couple more times before we can start thinking about trading Jimmy G.

looked exactly like jimmy did last season. When shanahan kept it simple for him. As soon as he has to start making reads and decisions, he'll suck.

So true. I've mentioned this several times, but it never gets any traction.

Not trying to trash Kyle, but he needs to do a better job of grooming his QBs. Jimmy looked incredible with a dumbed down playbook in 2017, but then for some reason Kyle felt the need to dump the whole offense in his lap. After that, Jimmy looked like a different player often not getting rid of the ball or throwing late. Why not give it to him in chucks over a couple seasons? Stupid. I hope he doesn't do that to Mullens.
