No way. Cincy wants/needs Penei Sewell. If I was the 49ers I'd take him over anybody, but Trevor Lawrence. All the other QBs come around every year. Penei Sewell is a beast tackle.

Nick was terrible again today.

Just funny to me that it's possible for this thread to be critical of him in spite of awful circumstances and surrounding players, but its not ok to do that in a different QB thread.

There were drops. There were protection issues. There were receivers running away from the pass. There wasn't a great running game. Was missing key members on offense.

But even in spite of all that, Nick was horrible again.

I was about to post the same thing basically.

The guy we got doesn't get benefit of doubt in regards to drops and supporting cast.

But the guy most want that's all you hear

Same pattern every game. Opening quarter TD, then 2-3 and a half quarters of the most boring uninspired turn over laden QB'ing you've ever seen. Then if you're lucky you get some 4th quarter stat padding.

No one here is satisfied with Jimmy's play, well I don't think. But the fact many here called Mullens better than Jimmy was pure insanity, the qb position can definitely be upgraded
