Bring him back for what

Yeah, we got Rosen for that now.

Same injury happened to Rapelisberger's elbow 2nd game of 2019. He went to throw a pass and all of a sudden his elbow went numb.

Looks like Ben's elbow is going numb again. Kinda sad watching him and Brees this year, they are shot. The top tier statue QB era is pretty much over. Just Ben, Brees, Brady, Rivers, and Ryan left
Yeah, I would just let Mullens be a FA, he won't be ready to play next year, so why sign him, knowing he won't play? Rosen might very well end up being our #2 next year, and Beathard can be brought back on a minimum deal as well to battle Rosen for the #2 spot. I am hoping we draft Lance, and trade Jimmy G, so we can have the money to bring back our essential FA's (T. Williams-Juice-Verrett-Hyder) hopefully there's enough left over for K. Williams assuming we're able to cut Ford+Richburg.

Might want to invest some draft picks in the oline to keep these guys from getting killed.

Lol. Good one. It's gonna be d line in the first and injured players to fill up the draft board

That could be in the short term one of the most surefire ways to go backward.

I understand some of the move on from Jimmy G mostly for financial reasons. But I doubt that it will happen. If it did and if we drafted a QB and gave him the keys to the offense Lance might literally be the riskiest option. Low level of competition and essentially not playing at all in 2020. I'd say he's regarded as the absolute rawest of any potential/probable first round QB.

I wouldn't be amazed frankly if, provided we don't move up, that all QB's not named Trask or Mac Jones are already gone by the time we pick. Maybe if we lose out one of them is there still and it probably would be Lance.

I'm okay with a lot of the mocks that have us taking Horn in all honesty. If Jimmy is here next year that is absolutely fine for the success of the team next year if he misses no time. We're losing Sherman almost guaranteed. We would have a decent shot at keeping Verrett but then someone will be willing to pay him too next year. Either way, we need another corner and Horn would seem to fit.

That Steeler idiot dancing on opposing teams logos doesn't help either.

Mullens will forever hold a place in my heart for beating the OAKLAND raiders senseless .....other than that, well,......Bahye.

Wow, I feel for Nick. His career may be over.

I don't, if he retires he earned it the hard way.

This
Say what you want but our offense looks the best with Mullens at the helm. Which was always my point for liking him.

Yea the turnovers suck! But he should be our longterm backup with hopes he can get a handle on the turnovers
You'll never see Mullens suit up in the scarlet and gold ever again

PSA: If you tweet that you are happy that Mullens got injured and you work for the WZ, you wont be working for them for long.

That's a part but that tommy John with an already weak arm will definitely get him off this roster and fighting for his NFL career
I feel bad for him. He has heart and desire. It's not his fault he sucks ass.

Disagree that this is the end of his career. He has shown enough this season to be on a roster. He is not a starting NFL QB but he'll find a team to pay him millions to be their backup, even after Tommy John. The world of baseball has shown that this is a highly successful surgery and he may even come out stronger in a year.

He's an injured, undersized slow qb with a weak Noodle arm who has a propensity to turn the ball over either by passing it to the other team or fumbling it to the other team, oh and he has a way of losing games single handedly. Outside of Saleh getting a HC gig I don't really see him as a fit for most teams as a backup. He's also competing with a bunch of recycled former first rounders who are getting passed around the league and are much more talented and in some ways better winners than him.
