Agreed. Though I though he definitely played better in the preseason than CJ, maybe Nick can be at minimum a more reliable backup to Jimmy G.

It's average. Which to me is equivalent to good enough for the NFL. What he got going for him so far is anticipation due to his mental procesing, fairly accurate and touch on the ball with different throws. Getting over the line, dropping over defender into the receiver.

Hes not heaving it like the truly weak ones.

Mullens is really good at pre-snap reads. I hope Shanny calls the plays on time to give him time to get to the LOS and read the defense. None of this rushing to the line with 5 ticks left please.

Hell, we should start the first drive against the giants in a hurry up mode.

Touch, poise and decent field vision, if he could throw deep like CJ...but unlike CJ he doesn't throw flat fast balls that get batted down
