Excited about this kid. I know it's "just the raiders" blah blah blah but still. Jimmy G was one awful bone headed Peterman style pick away from being 0-2 or 0-3 this year. Nice to finally get a QB in there that delivered a decisive victory.

Jimmy G. started his career in SF playing the crappy Bears then went on to earn $137 mil. Hopefully it kinda works out that way for Mullens.

Indeed. I'm looking forward to the dude getting his shot. He's earned it. Raiders or not he played well especially when you consider his most explosive pass catcher most weeks is a tight end. Goodwin is such a p***y you never know if he's gonna finish a game or get IR'd.

To be fair th crappy Bears had a top 10 defense last year.

He cried uncontrollably in the postgame interview, it could escalate quick if he completes a pass to Pettis

Lol

If he cried anymore Erin Andrews would sue him for sexual harassment

Why hasn't Shanahan named him starter yet?

The players are still on their mini-break.

I think Shanahan will wait has long has he can before naming the starter for the Giants game. Keep em guessing.
Shaun Hill 2.0. Still more fun to watch than CJ.

I forgot about that.

Amazing how that was hot news for about 24 hours and then disappeared.

It was news for nearly a year and she won the court case.
to read thousands of inane comments is not possible. I very rarely read an astute comment about anything here. Mullens has teased us with fine play thus far, and to have a 4 year quarterback rating in college over 137 smacks of his ability to do most of the things an nfl quarterback must do. I started watching the 49ers in 1953 ( age 7 ) accuracy and timing is key. John Brodie, Joe, Steve, and the great Jeff Garcia, maybe will find a way to slip in, heh, heh, heh, Certainly not Beathard.

It's so much more fun to watch well executed football on both offense and defense. I hated watching CJ, even when we scored. It was so labored and clunky. Every TD felt like luck. Mullen's made it look smooth, even on big plays.
